Epicurean
These chopping boards have recently been introduced to the UK from the US. Even though they're relatively pricey, it hasn't stopped them becoming our best selling boards.
Amazingly, the material has been used in US restaurants for the past 35 years, so it's hardly a revolutionary thing. All Epicurean Cutting Surfaces are made from an environmentally friendly natural wood fibre laminate that's food-safe. They are genuinely a pleasure to use, won't dull your knives and are easy to clean. Most importantly, Epicurean boards are dishwasher safe! Due to its composite construction, the Epicurean material is non-porous and doesn't pick up odours or bacteria in the same way as unprocessed timber. In addition, this means that the boards don't warp and are light enough to carry to the hob. Overall, just a really well-made product.
