Designed for Alessi by Elena Manferdini, Blossom is a very carefully designed openwork fruit basket. A protege of Greg Lynn in California, Bologna-born Elena's are worthy of their position in Alessi's refined Officina collection. In fact, the Blossom basket is so complex in design terms that, like many Alessi baskets, it spent several years in prototype before an effective production method was found.
