28cm presentation platter in high-quality German porcelain with well for sauces or dips. Presentation-boxed.

TOC1 is a 28cm presentation plate designed to allow us all to show off a variety of dishes in spectacular fashion. The largely-flat platter features a well for sauces, dips or coulis. The principle is that it prevents flavours combining until the moment of eating and allows the colour of the sauce to contrast with the white of the platter as a perfect circle. This would also make a great desserts tasting plate. This is part of the Rosenthal In.gredienti range introduced in 2008 and Cooks&Kitchens are one of a limited number of UK stockists. In a departure for Rosenthal, the range was designed not by a leading designer, but by a leading chef - in this case Massimiliano Alajmo. Alajmo has the distinction of being the youngest chef to be awarded 3 Michelin Stars. His raison d'etre for In.gredienti is to establish tableware shapes that are functionally in tune with serving certain types of dishes, whilst being aesthetically dramatic.
