The set also includes the forged meat knife and a very fine sharpening steel. The Classic Ikon range has a different balance and grip to the traditional Wusthof offerings. Its back-weighting creates greater heft, whilst the longer handle helps the user to utilise more of the blade. With its cut-away bolster (for whetstone users) and dynamic grip, it's an exquisite contemporary knife.
